Bin Ends etc. 18/08/2020

How does a wine age in a “BIB” (bag in box)? Well judging from our last experience, quite well.

Celler Arrufi Vi Rosat is a Catalan organic rosé, which was bottled…euh bagged last year and it is still very nice to drink today. The very slight sherryish flavour on top of its “lolly” taste adds to its appeal. Only a few 3 Litre BIBs left at a bin end price of 17.50 € instead of 21.50 €. First in, first served.

One shot summer wine: Tinhof ‘Noir’ Zweigelt 2015 – 10.60€

We have had it in store for a while but have just retasted it during the heatwave. It is a perfect blend of ripe red fruit, a nice crispiness, and a silky smoothness as a result of the 5 years of bottle ageing. It is just right with light and cold meals or to drink on its own. Just what one needs this summer.

One shot bin end: Beronia Rioja Reserva Graciano 2012 – was 18.20€ and now is 12.90€

An intriguing Rioja made solely from Graciano, a grape which is usually blended in a small amount with Tempranillo. It’s a structured, mature wine: wild berries, leather, and a hint of mint, now ready to drink after eight years of bottle ageing.

Bin end spirits

And last but not least, we have odds and ends in our spirit range, these last bottles making way for the new ones (shelf space is very scarce @Mig’s!). These “bin ends” will be sold off at purchase price! Again, first in, first served.

So just pop in and take advantage of these special offer.

Cheers!
