Mig's in style! 02/10/2020

@ Mig's we never hesitate to span the gap between « cheap and cheerful » and top end. This week, we have received 3 new wines from the latter category.

  • Bollinger PN VZ15 (89.00€):

Great brut champagne, vintage 2015, made with 100% Pinot Noir grapes mostly from the Verzenay « cru » soils. Cellar aging is more than double the minimum appellation rules. Rich, complex, with toasted notes and a finish that evokes yuzu flavors.

  • La Falize Chardonnay 2018 (48,00€):

A treasure from the Namur region made with the help of Sylvain Pellegrinelli (who worked in the vineyards of Puligny-Montrachet) for the cultivation and one of Belgium's most famous winemaker: Peter Colemont from Clos d'Opleeuw. With Alice Danzin responsible for overseeing the project, we are in very good hands! Comparable to an excellent Meursault, it is an elegant wine, rich but also fresh with a nice crisp backbone. This wine is cultivated organically and will soon be certified as will be other products made on the estate.

  • Château de Bioul Brut Nature millésimé 2015 (39,50€) :

Crémant de Wallonie AOP, aged 42 months in bottles in the cellar, no added sugar, only 1000 bottles produced! Touches of citrus and exotic fruits, vinous and oaky. A great bubbly.

See you soon @ Mig's!

Cheers!
