After a first trial a while back, we now have a couple of new and interesting wines from Moldavia in store. This Saturday you can check out the red and white we selected from Château Vartely. The red is a classic cabernet, well balanced with the vegetal character of the varietal in check. The white can be considered more interesting: the feteasca alba varietal has a floral, slightly muscaty nose and palate while still nicely crisp and dry. For aperitif & Asian cuisines for example. Fun! Also to be tasted this week-end: old favorites from their neighbors Romania.
