STOP! EXCEPTIONAL! CHATEAU MUSAR TASTING! 12/05/2014

This coming Saturday May 17, Mig’s will be offering you an exceptional wine tasting. Jane Sowder -export manager for the Château Musar - will be with us, as well as Luc Hoornaert who’s imported their mythical wines from Lebanon into Belgium for more than 15 years now.

Château Musar is probably the oldest winery in the world: there are traces of M’sar (an old Arabic word meaning “old castle”) producing wine some 4500 years ago. The winery as we know it today –with still the same name- was created in 1930 by Gaston Hochar.

The famous Decanter Man of the Year award was created to honor Gaston’s son Serge in 1984, after a historical harvest where the grapes had to be picked with a white flag during Lebanon's Civil War.

Nothing is banal about this winery. Nor the history, nor the wines they produce. Not only has the Domaine never used pesticides (organic even before the word existed), but who else keeps their top wine for 7 years before releasing it?

Nothing compares to their top cuvees, if you’ve never tasted Château Musar, this is an exceptional opportunity to do so, and to have the best feed-back ever from the right people.

See you! Cheers!
