The Aconcagua of Argentinean Wineries! 15/03/2010

This Saturday we'll be climbing towards the summit of Argentinean wines! The Bodega Catena Zapata has been lifting wines of its country towards the best of the world.
For more than a century, four generations (Nicola, Domingo and now Nicolás and his daughter Laura) have been climbing one after the other towards the wine peaks. Nicolás was actually named « Wine Man of the Year 2009 » by the great British magazine Decanter.
This Saturday, we'll start the climb with the Alamos (chardonnay, pinot noir and malbec), move up with the "simple" Malbec, pursue the lift with the two Altas (Chardonnay and Malbec) and finish at the top in the company of one of the Bodega's (and the country's) best wines, the Nicolás Catena Zapata (a blend of cabernet sauvignon and malbec).
This superb hike will be led by Mariela Molinari, Winemaker.
This Saturday @ Mig's, we won't be lacking oxygen, so climb with us -no need to bring your walking shoes or sticks, just a palate in working order!
Salud!
