Dear world wine lovers,

This Saturday, March 19th, come and taste some good Italian bottles at Mig's.

From 2pm to 4pm, we will be presenting our finds:

- The Longariva, Ai Dossi, 2017, Trentino Marzemino, Italy, Red

This wine with its intense ruby red color in the glass, is a pure expression of the expressive indigenous Marzemino red grapes.

Produced in Vallagarina, with the traditional Trentino pergola method, it is an elegant and pleasantly fruity wine with finesse and hints of red fruit and fresh violets.

- Castellare di Castellina, Governo di Castellare, 2020, IGT Tuscany, Italy, Red

This fresh spring wine, is a blend of sangiovese and native canaiolo grape.

Following the Tuscan vinification technique called Governo, a small quantity of dried grapes were added after the first fermentation.

The result is a fruity, lively and easy to drink wine with a ruby red color and floral aromas.

- Marco Porello, Langhe Favorita, 2021, Italy, White

This wine of favorita (vermentino), a late ripening grape, comes from Piedmont.

Its ageing on lees gives it a beautiful depth and a lot of aromatic richness.

There are aromas of white fruits like pears, freshly cut grass and flowers. The taste is pleasantly fresh with fine nuances of citrus and a little pineapple. We also like this wine from Marco Porello for its little saline finish.
