Back to Bulgaria & Bargain Bordeaux! 04/05/2009

This Saturday 9th of May, Christophe from Texavino, will host a tasting of his very good Bulgarian wines. From the cheap and cheerful (Tsar Assen mavrud) to the Black C, as elegant as its label, and on to the surprisingly complex Enira (owned by Stephan von Neipperg of Canon La Gafelière).
Second good news: Mig's is taking advantage of a destocking at Belgium's biggest wine négociant and can offer you a selection of good Bordeaux wines at very accessible prices (yes, we can!).
First: Potensac 1994 (Médoc): still extremely youthful! 75 cl at 19.00 €, magnum at 39.00 €.
Secondly: a nice St-Emilion Grand Cru, the Château Puy-Blanquet on four vintages: 1998, 2000, 2001 and 2005. An elegant wine that can age for +/- 10 years. The 1998 is at a perfect stage of maturity. All vintages at same price: 16.00 € only!
Thirdly: Château La Louvière (Pessac-Léognan) red 2005. Nice vintage, nice price : 25.00 €

Take note : very small quantities. First-come first-served ! Cheers !
