New York State wines are much less known than wines from the US west coast. This Saturday is a great opportunity to discover them. As well as the usual vitis vinifera varietals, New York wines are often made with indigenous or hybrid grape varietals. This weekend you'll have the chance to discover Vignoles, Seyval, Cayuga and Frontenac as well as Chardonnay and Cabernet Franc. The tasting will be hosted by Christian Claessens (President of New York Wines sarl) this Saturday from 2 to 6 P.M.
